Starting over AGAIN --cleaned the house out of all BAD food items this morning and they went directly into the trash barrel.

B - Carb Master yogurt (12 gm. protein) 1/2 cup kashi
S - l/f mozzarella stick
L - 1/2 cup bean/turkey sausage soup, 1/2 cup plain cottage cheese
D - turkey burger (no bun) and salad w/ff dressing
S - yogurt or maybe protein ice cream

I have to get my body cleansed of carbs - been eating bread and it has to stop NOW!

That's an interesting way to prepare oatmeal Jacki.  Still maintaining my weight stall even after yardwork this weekend.  We have welcome rain again today.
So far I've had coffee and a protein bar.  Brought chili and a banana for lunch.  I'm planning on leftover baked chicken and asparagus for dinner.
Have a great week.  Carmel Valley Linda

Jacki,

Cheese and butter in your oatmeal?  What an excellent idea!

My menu today is not a shining example of good nutrition.  Today and yesterday I just have not been hungry, and I have to force myself to eat.  I never in my life expected to hear myself say that.  My general rule is to eat only when I'm hungry, but I feel that my body needs some fuel, especially on a day like today when I do a 50-min. aerobics class.

B: coffee protein shake
S: iced skinny latte
L: 1/2 of a Quaker breakfast cookie
S: a few bites of salmon
D: planning on Shelly's potato-less pancakes and some roasted edamame salad
S: chocolate protein bar

yup i figured why keep grits and plain oatmeal in the house.  they are close in texture.  so i doctor my plain oatmeal up they way they taught me down south to make the grits.  i figure the cheese boosts up the protein value a bit.  i add a pat of butter to make it smoother,  skip the salt though, there is enough in the cheese

enjoy
